As program implementation should be in a constant state of growth and renewal using these concepts, agency standards must change to include person centered planning and input, as the basis for service delivery. As we consider persons lives from a holistic standpoint, methods and approaches should be adaptive to incorporate program options that provide personal enrichment opportunities.
The difficultly is being creative in coordination of individual needs and group opportunities. This barrier can easily be overcome by a continual search for connective resources. With an abundance of community agencies, social resources and volunteer situations most consumer needs can be met.
A point person should be in place for each dimension of wellness and linkage gatherings should occur to overlap consumer goals and service possibilities. The agency should have a goal to add at least two new potential program approaches weekly for each dimension so to assure continued program growth.
